* CEREAL - Please donate Cereal - It can be dropped off at SPJ school or at the rectory or inside the doors of the church during Masses. Thank you in advance

*Your donations are making it possible to keep our pantry stocked. The number of families needing assistance is growing. The cost of food from the food bank is going up. The average pantry used to cost $300 to $400 per month. That same pantry is now costing $900 to $1,000 per month. Our donation page has a link to our paypal account as well as a way to donate by check. - Thank you in advance

*Maize Valley - We are once again pleased to be a 50/50 participant at Maize Valley - stop out to see a wonderful car show,  great food and of course a 50/50 that helps local 501c3 charities.    ***Thank you to the Maize Valley Gearheads and Don Sitts the 50/50 for July 30th raised $358 for Luke19******

 
Luke19 Impact Report 2025
The Luke19 shopping pantry hosted at SS Philip and James school gym on the third Sunday of each month 3 to 5 pm.
 
During the 2025 year Luke19 was able to assist:
1,473 families
Or 122.75 families per month
Total individuals assisted 3, 816
Or 318 people per month
Of these people 1,098 were children
Or 92 kids per month
 
Food distributed
Approximately 108,864 pounds of food
included in that is approximately 1,040 pounds of milk
and 1,184 loaves of bread
Not included in these numbers are the pounds of food received
through individual donations from local food drives

Foods were purchased from the Akron Canton Foodbank, ALDIs and Giant Eagle

Donations from Costco, Giant Eagle, Mids. Sauce, and Lions Club

 What is a shopping or choice pantry?????

It's like shopping in a no cost grocery store. You pick out the items your family will eat. The "store" is setup  in departments so you can find the items easily.

Every dollar saved at a pantry is a dollar that can be used to pay a bill, get gas, or buy necessary medication.
